Qinglong is a mountainous county, located in the eastern part of Yanshan Mountains in Hebei Province. Its special geographical location and mountain microclimate create unique environmental conditions such as large temperature difference between day and night, long sunshine duration and no pollution. In the mid 1970s, the county qiuzhangzi village farmers began to artificially domesticate the local wild varieties of wolfberry, the output of wolfberry with small pulp, low sugar and high medicinal value characteristics, more special than ningxia wolfberry excellent quality, gradually favored by more and more consumers.
